Challenge
In Toronto's melting pot of cultures, where various ethnic groups live side by side, minority ethnic businesses have traditionally thrived within their community confines. While this approach has helped preserve product authenticity, it has also limited the exposure of these minority cultures and brands to wider audiences, hindering their ability to convey their uniqueness to other groups.



Solution
Oneē Studio's strategy is to weave Eastern aesthetics into contemporary mainstream design, not just using common symbolic elements, but importantly incorporating Eastern philosophies and values. The name "Oneē" is chosen to signify the slim probability of 'one in ten thousand', symbolizing hope in seemingly unlikely scenarios. This reflects our commitment to helping niche brands stand out in the fiercely competitive market.

In our logo design, we employ semicircles and rectangles, foundational shapes in both Western mathematics and modern art design, and symbolically significant in Eastern culture, where they represent the world/universe. Combining these essential elements, our logo design encapsulates the concept of "Oneē."
